SINGAPORE - A student at Singapore Chinese Girls' School has been diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB) and some of her classmates are being screened in case they have also caught the infectious disease.

The Secondary 4 student stopped attending classes at the Bukit Timah school last Tuesday.
