SINGAPORE - Former Singapore Power managing director for finance, Lee Suen Ming, has joined Mount Alvernia Hospital as its new chief executive. His appointment takes effect from Oct 1.
He will take over current acting chief executive Lee Hwee Huang, who is also the hospital's director of clinical services.
Mr Lee graduated with an engineering degree from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London on a DBS Bank Scholarship. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2007. Mr Lee was formerly with DBS and also spent time working on development projects at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
"His outstanding leadership and community involvement skills, combined with a track record of success are a welcome addition to Mount Alvernia Hospital's family of physicians, clinical and non-clinical hospital staff," said hospital board chairman Phillip Tan.
