SINGAPORE - About 900,000 HDB households will continue to receive rebates on their service and conservancy charges, Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat announced on Monday (Feb 19).

Last year, eligible HDB households received 1½ to 3½ months of rebate on their service and conservancy charges.

These will be extended for another year, at a cost of $126 million.

The rebate is for 3½ months for HDB households in one and two-room flats, 2.5 months for three and four-room flats, two months for five-room flats, and 1.5 months for executive or multi-generation flats.

Households whose members own more than one property are not eligible for the rebate.
