Singapore's haze conditions remained at unhealthy levels, with the three-hour Pollutants Standard Index (PSI) dipping slightly to 143 at 5pm on Friday, from 145 the hour before.
This is still in the unhealthy range of between 101 and 200. The PSI has been dropping steadily since noon, when it reached an all-time high of 401.
The 24-hour average PSI also dipped slightly to 166-216 at 5pm, down from 171-225 an hour earlier.
However, the 24-hour PM2.5 reading, which measures very fine particulate matter which is more hazardous, was at 215-286 as of 4pm.
