SINGAPORE- More than 9,000 SG50 Baby Jubilee gifts have been given out to date, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Grace Fu in a Facebook post on Tuesday.

Ms Fu, who is also Second Minister for the Environment and Water Resources and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs, visited her residents Mr and Mrs Ko in Yuhua SMC.

She gave them the jubilee gift - which includes a suitcase, a special medallion and a set of baby clothes - to welcome their newborn Jay Ko. "I hope you grow well, dream big and have a good life," she said.

Ms Fu added that she has spotted parents using the SG50 baby sling and the diaper bags around Singapore. "Glad the items are proving popular and useful," she said.
