About 550 pupils, parents and teachers took part in a 3km charity walk yesterday that raised $7,000 for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore. The primary school pupils were from 12 student care centres operated by private education company Mercu Learning Point. The event was organised to coincide with the 25th anniversary of Mercu's parent company, the Association of Muslim Professionals. Participants also took part in a soccer match and were treated to a carnival.
