Harsher penalties are needed to give more teeth to the recent price transparency guidelines proposed by the competition watchdog, said industry experts.

The proposed guidelines announced on Monday by the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS) target consumer-facing businesses, including online travel platforms.
