Thirteen-year-old Samuel Chong, who was born with cerebral palsy, plays on a swing for the first time as his parents Amy Teo, 51, and Chong Choon Leong, 49, accompany him at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park yesterday. The family travelled from their home in Khatib to let Samuel enjoy the newly built inclusive playground, the first of its kind here, which includes a wheelchair-accessible swing and merry-go-round. The playground was opened yesterday by Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan Jin and is one of the 11 inclusive playgrounds scheduled to be built across Singapore by 2017.
