Free legal talks and clinics will be held during the inaugural Law Week at the Subordinate Courts from July 22 to 25.
The event is jointly organised by the Singapore Law Academy and the Law Society to members of the public who want to know to more about their everyday legal rights.
The talks - from 6pm to 8pm on July 22 and 24 - will cover a spectrum of topics that will be of interest to the public such as employment matters, family law and consumer protection.

A book entitled Know the Law Now! will be given complimentary to those attending the talks. It provides brief information on areas of law that touch the lay person. A Chinese version of it will also be available.
