SINGAPORE - Four people – two motorcyclists and two pillion riders – were taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Novena on Nov 9.

The police said they were alerted to the incident on Whitley Road towards the PIE at about 8.30am.

The male motorcyclists, aged 33 and 37, and their female pillion passengers, aged 21 and 28, were taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, said the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

The car driver, a 51-year-old man, is assisting with ongoing investigations, said the police.

In dashcam footage of the accident posted to Facebook page Roads.sg, two motorcycles are seen colliding with a car that emerged from a smaller road on the left and appeared to be attempting to turn into the opposite direction of Whitley Road.

The impact flings two figures over the car, and one of the motorcyclists ends up on the roof of the car.

After he regains his bearings, he can be seen scrambling to the other side of the car, before the footage ends.
