SINGAPORE - The former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station will be open to the public on Deepavali on Tuesday (Nov 10).

The public can visit between 9am and 6pm.

The Singapore Land Authority said in a press release that visitors can take photographs or draw their impressions of the historical building and railway platforms. It said drawings can be deposited at the ticketing counter there and may be displayed at future openings.

Gazetted as a national monument in 2011, the former station is open to the public on public holidays to allow more people to enjoy the state property.
