A website celebrating the social empowerment of women was launched on Tuesday by former Nominated Member of Parliament Eunice Olsen.

Called WomenTalk, the website features videos of inspiring Asian women interviewed by Ms Olsen, who won the Miss Singapore Universe pageant in 2000. A total of 24 videos over three seasons are expected to be released in a year.

Four videos have been posted online, and two Singaporeans are featured. They are paralympian swimmer Yip Pin Xiu and Ministry of Food chief executive Lena Sim. The remaining four videos for the first season will each be posted every other Sunday from Aug 25.

Viewers can also upload their own videos to share stories of other inspiring women they know of. The videos are available on www.womentalktv.asia
