Singapore Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan will be making an introductory visit to China from Feb 29.

SINGAPORE - Singapore's Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan will make an introductory visit to China from Monday (Feb 29) at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
During the two-day visit, he will meet senior members of the Chinese government, including Vice-President Li Yuanchao, State Councillor Yang Jiechi , Communist Party of China International Department Minister Song Tao and Mr Wang, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) said in a statement issued on Sunday (Feb 28).
Dr Balakrishnan, in his capacity as Minister-in-charge of the Smart Nation Programme Office, will also meet China's Cyberspace Administration Minister Lu Wei.
He will be accompanied by his wife as well as MFA officials.
