SINGAPORE- A POSB branch in Rivervale Plaza in Sengkang caught fire on Sunday afternoon.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said no one was injured.
A spokesman said the fire started at an air-conditioning unit that burnt itself out before SCDF personnel arrived at the scene.
The SCDF received a call at 1.25pm alerting them to the incident.
About 20 people who were in the area had evacuated themselves, the spokesman added.
