A fire was reported at a construction site along Amber Road on Monday morning at 10.34am.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) confirmed that the fire was fuelled by discarded items at the site. No injuries were reported.

When SCDF personnel arrived at the scene however, the fire had been extinguished by members of the public using water from their homes.
