SINGAPORE - What will the weather be like on Sunday evening, which is race day for the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix?

The National Environment Agency says thundery showers are expected over southern, western and central Singapore during the late afternoon.

As of 3pm, the 24-hour PSI was still steadily in the moderate range between 77 and 91, while the three-hour PSI was 83.

The 24-hour PSI level dipped just below the unhealthy classification after 11am. The level was in the low 100s overnight.

In a 6pm update, the NEA said slightly hazy conditions were observed in Singapore today and they are expected to persist tonight. The 24-hour PSI for the next 24 hours is expected to be in the high end of the Moderate range and the low end of the Unhealthy range, it said.

On Sunday night at 8pm, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel starts from pole position at the Marina Bay street circuit ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo and fellow Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen.
