Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay celebrates its 15th anniversary with big bold lights. From tomorrow to Oct 31, the number "15" will shine brightly from the domes nightly, accompanied by a moving-light display. There will be 12 moving-light displays that will illuminate the domes throughout the 20 days of the show. The entire display will be made up of 2,807 light-emitting diodes. The Esplanade's 15th anniversary will also be marked by a series of events, such as backstage tours by actors Siti Khalijah and Hossan Leong, jazz vocalist Rani Singam and artist Inch Chua stretching from this month till December. This is part of its year-long #mydurian campaign - which refers to the centre's two spiked domes that resemble the tropical fruit.
