A water pipe leak near Jalan Tua Kong in Bedok on Monday morning left nearby households, offices and a coffeeshop without water.

The Public Utilities Board said in a statement that it was informed of a water mains leak at the junction of Jalan Tua Kong and Upper East Coast Road at 6.06am.

PUB's service van crew and contractor repair team were deployed to the site immediately.

A total of nine residential and commercial units, including a coffeeshop, were affected.

Temporary water supply, water bags and a water wagon were provided to the affected customers.

Repair work was completed at 2pm and water supply to all customers was restored.

PUB is investigating the cause of the leak.
