More households are warming to the installation of rooftop solar panels to supply their energy needs after electricity prices surged worldwide last year, say industry players.
UOB, whose scheme allows home owners to set up the panels without having to pay the upfront costs, said installed capacity for cluster and landed properties shot up by almost 320 per cent last year compared with 2020.
