Heavy showers over many parts of Singapore early Monday morning

SINGAPORE - Thundery showers with gusty winds greeted early morning commuters in many areas on Monday (Aug 3).
The National Environment Agency said the skies opened at approximately 6.40am and that the rain is expected to last through the morning.
The last heavy bout of showers over Singapore on July 26 saw a double rainbow event.
