SINGAPORE - A heavy downpour caused flash floods in several areas in Singapore on Friday (Dec 11) afternoon.
At about 1.25pm, the Public Utilities Board sent out an alert on its Twitter account that there were flash floods at Thomson Road but traffic was passable.
PUB issued a warning cancel at 2.27pm as the heavy rain has subsided. By 2.50pm, almost all the flash floods have cleared.
Several other areas, including Boon Keng Road and Veerasamy Road, also saw some flooding.
The heavy downpour also caused parts of Bishan shopping mall Junction 8 to be flooded.
