Some question feasibility of curbs that bar cellphone use for gaming-related purposes

Students from Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) have expressed reservations over the feasibility of newly announced restrictions on smartphone usage.

The rules restrict phone use for HCI's high school section and were put into effect earlier this month. They prohibit students from using mobile devices for gaming or to view gaming videos between 7am and 2pm. However, students will still be able to use their mobiles in school and during classes for other uses and educational purposes.
