Some people might consider being a pre-school cook a job for "aunties", but Mr Gerald Ng is comfortable being "Uncle Gerald" in the kitchen at St James' Church Kindergarten.

The main cook for the pre-school operator's Harding Road campus in Dempsey, he prepares meals for 800 children every school day.
