New task force to uplift them is a good start, say social workers

Fixing the problem of being late for school may not be as simple as waking up early.

A student may be late as his parent worked the night shift, and could not get up in time to prepare the child for school. For some families with many children, it is a struggle to handle all of them in the morning.
