Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam will attend a meeting of G20 finance ministers in Sydney, Australia, from Saturday to Sunday.

At the meeting, actions to strengthen global growth and job creation will be discussed. The ministers will also discuss actions to make the global economy more resilient to future shocks.

Mr Tharman, who is also Minister for Finance, will also have several bilateral meetings with his counterparts.

He will be accompanied by officials from the Finance Ministry and the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
