Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Teo Chee Hean has reaffirmed Singapore's good relations and cooperation on a wide range of issues with Malaysia during a two-day visit to Putrajaya that ended yesterday, Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press statement.

Mr Teo, also Coordinating Minister for National Security, called on Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak during the visit, the statement said yesterday.

Among the issues reaffirmed was the Memorandum of Understanding on the Singapore-Malaysia High Speed Rail, which signalled the two governments' commitment to the long-term bilateral project.

Mr Teo met several other Malaysian leaders, including his counterpart DPM Ahmad Zahid Hamidi. Both parties exchanged views on regional security and counter-terrorism cooperation.

On the sidelines of the inaugural International Conference on Blue Ocean Strategy, Mr Teo also met the Palestinian National Authority's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Riyad Al-Maliki.
