Raihanah Maisarah Mohamad Rafi, 11, and her father Mohamad Rafi Mohd Karim, 36, making cookie balls at the Oreo Chef Challenge yesterday.

The event was held at the Tools Of The Trade cooking studio. Like the other children who took part, Raihanah is a beneficiary of The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. The event was organised to encourage family bonding and was held in conjunction with Oreo's 100th birthday. Each of the five teams was given around an hour to prepare a pre-chosen Oreo dish. Raihanah and her father won a prize for the best team dynamic, and took home a $200 cash prize and a $50 Oreo hamper.

Kraft Foods, which owns Oreo, also donated $10,000 to the fund.
