Discarded disposables in S'pore enough to fill 400 Olympic swimming pools

SINGAPORE - Last year, about 200,000 tonnes of disposables including carrier bags and takeaway containers were thrown away here, said the National Environment Agency.

These were enough to fill up 400 Olympic-sized swimming pools.
