SINGAPORE - Mr S, 50, has not seen his two daughters for more than two years and he is heart-broken. He felt so down after his wife left the family home with the girls and did not allow him to see them that he sought psychiatric help.

His ordeal started in 2011 when he suspected that his wife of about 20 years, a secretary, was cheating on him. She later took their daughters, then aged six and 15, and left home in 2013.
