Cuba has opened its embassy here, making Singapore the 125th country in which the Caribbean island has a consular presence. The embassy, at King's Centre along Havelock Road, was launched yesterday. It was officiated by Ambassador Roberto Blanco Domi

Cuba has opened its embassy here, making Singapore the 125th country in which the Caribbean island has a consular presence. The embassy, at King's Centre along Havelock Road, was launched yesterday. It was officiated by Ambassador Roberto Blanco Dominguez (facing the camera), First Deputy Foreign Minister Marcelino Medina Gonzalez, and Singapore's Second Permanent Secretary with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Albert Chua.
