Two men arrested over fight in Pasir Ris HDB block

SINGAPORE - Two men aged 63 and 69 were arrested on Tuesday (March 13) after they got into a fight at a Housing Board flat in Pasir Ris.

According to Chinese daily Lianhe Wanbao, an elderly couple and a man were involved in a fight on the 12th floor corridor of Block 626, Pasir Ris Drive 3, on Tuesday night.

The newspaper reported that they are neighbours.

The Straits Times understands that one of the men sustained minor hip injuries from the scuffle.

It is unclear what the fight was over.

In response to queries from The Straits Times, a police spokesman said they were alerted to a case of affray at around 10.15pm on Tuesday night.

The two men were conscious when sent to Changi General Hospital, added the spokesman.

They were subsequently arrested in relation to the case.

Police investigations are ongoing.
