Three teenagers arrested for rioting in Bukit Panjang: Police

SINGAPORE - Three teenagers suspected of rioting have been arrested, police said.

A man reported to the police last Saturday (March 11) at about 7am that he had been assaulted by a group of men along Petir Road in Bukit Panjang.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the three suspects had assaulted the victim after a dispute, police said.

Two were arrested in Bukit Panjang and a third was nabbed in Choa Chu Kang.

They are all 18 years old.

Police investigations are ongoing.

Anyone convicted of rioting can be jailed for up to seven years and can be caned.
