SINGAPORE - A motorcycle and police van were involved in a collision along the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on Tuesday morning.

A video of the incident was recorded by another motorist and uploaded to citizen journalism website Stomp.

A taxi behind the van and bike also brake abruptly.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that it received a call for help at 8.33am.

"The road traffic accident involved a motorcycle, a taxi and a police van," an SCDF spokesman said.

"SCDF conveyed the motorcyclist to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and he was in a conscious state."
