SINGAPORE -A man suspected of robbing a woman at knifepoint has been arrested, police said.
The 30-year-old suspect is believed to be involved in a case of armed robbery at Race Course Road.
A woman reported that he had threatened a woman with a knife, and took away her valuables, including cash of $240 and two mobile phones.
The crime was reported to the police on Wednesday (Aug 10) at about 4.20pm.
By 2am on Thursday, police officers arrested the suspect along Jalan Besar.
If convicted of armed robbery, the suspect can be jailed between two to 10 years, and be sentenced to caning of 12 strokes or more.
