Man held over alleged child sex worked for MOE for 18 years

The French-language teacher arrested in Bangkok for allegedly having sex with minors had been working for Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) for the past 18 years.

An MOE spokesman told The Sunday Times on Friday night that French national Jean-Christophe Quenot, 51, was "appointed as a teacher in 2001". He taught at the MOE Language Centre.
