SINGAPORE - A 30-year-old man was arrested by police on Thursday morning for alleged theft of a motor vehicle and he will be charged in court on Monday.
In a statement, the police said the man's identity was established through police cameras installed in the vicinity of the reported crime. Police officers had also conducted in-depth investigations.
The motor vehicle was stolen from a car park in the vicinity of Serangoon Avenue 4 on Saturday. It was later recovered on the same day along Jalan Teck Kee.
The theft of a motor vehicle carries a maximum jail term of seven years and a fine.
