SINGAPORE - Police arrested a 26-year-old man on Friday (May 6) for his suspected involvement in a theft case, in which four luxury watches worth more $305,000 were stolen.
Police were informed of the theft on Wednesday (May 4) at 1.04am. The watches were stolen from a watch boutique at a shopping centre on Bayfront Avenue.
Police officers from the Central Division then responded to the case, and were informed that an employee was believed to have been involved in the theft.
The man was arrested along Yung Ping Road at about 1pm. The four watches were also recovered.
