SINGAPORE - A 47-year-old man was arrested on Monday night for housebreaking along Mei Ling Street.

He allegedly broke into a unit and stole a radio and a digital camera amounting to $450.

Police, who were alerted to the break-in at 8.30am on Monday, arrested the man at about 11pm at Stirling Street using CCTV images obtained.

The suspect is expected to be charged in court on Wednesday. For housebreaking and theft by night, he could be jailed up to 14 years.
