SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 34 year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of armed robbery at River Valley Road.
The suspect is believed to have threatened a 29-year-old woman with a knife around 9.10pm on Nov 3, after she had provided him with massage services. He is also believed to have threatened another masseuse who was at the same location.
The man is also suspected of taking their belongings that included cash, mobile phone and travel documents. He is also said to have molested one of the victims.
The suspect was arrested two days later after extensive investigations by the police.
He will be charged for armed robbery and outrage of modesty. If convicted, he faces a jail term of between three to 14 years, and 24 strokes of the cane.
