SINGAPORE - The Law Society of Singapore has to apply for a new tribunal to look into a lawyer's alleged misconduct, after a hearing that found him guilty was deemed not properly conducted.

In its judgment on Aug 25, the Court of Three Judges - the highest disciplinary body for the legal profession - said a fresh hearing should be held to investigate the complaint against Mr Shanmugam Manohar.
