Fire in Sungei Kadut

An early morning fire broke out at 65 Sungei Kadut Loop yesterday. The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it was alerted to the fire at about 1.30am. It was put out at around 4am. There were no reported injuries. The Building and Construction Authority said the third storey of the building was damaged, exposing the reinforcement bars of the roof slab above it. However, it did not affect the structural integrity of adjacent buildings.
