Court rejects Hong Kong man's bid to stop RWS from collecting $8.4m in unpaid debt

A Hong Kong businessman who blew $15 million in credit at the Resorts World Sentosa casino failed in his bid to stop RWS from recovering some $8.38 million in unpaid debt, made in a default judgment against him when he did not show up in court.

The High Court rejected Mr Sze Siu Hung's claims that RWS did not do enough to locate his residential address abroad and that he had paid the monies to an RWS employee, who had made off with the sum.
