SINGAPORE - A 29-year-old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in two cases of robbery reported along Hougang Avenue 7 and Jalan Sultan.
On May 24, a 27-year-old woman reported that she was robbed of her jewellery and cash along Hougang Avenue 7.
In another case on Friday (May 27), a 31-year-old woman reported that she was robbed of her jewellery, mobile phone and cash along Jalan Sultan.
The suspect in both cases had a similar description, police said in a statement on Monday.
Officers from Tanglin Division conducted extensive ground inquiries to establish the suspect's identity and subsequently arrested him along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 on Sunday at about 8.10pm.
