An accident between a van and nine motorcycles on the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) yesterday afternoon left two men, aged 34 and 50, dead and six others injured. Police arrested the 25-year-old van driver for a rash act causing death and suspended his driving licence. A 10m stretch of the road shoulder was littered with the twisted metal of wrecked motorcycles, including one machine which was jammed right under the front of the van.
