Temporary shelter at ministry HQ allows up to five people to stay the night

For the past 10 months, a corner of the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) headquarters in Thomson Road has been a refuge for a small group of homeless people.
This Safe Sound Sleeping Place (S3P) is the first homeless shelter to be housed in the premises of a government ministry, said an MSF spokesman.
