Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sampled the sights and sounds of a community arts village in Ang Mo Kio on Saturday, along with some 5,000 residents.
The Ang Mo Kio GRC and Sengkang West PAssionARTS Village is one of 47 in this year's PAssionARTS month, which is organised by the People's Association (PA).
PM Lee joined in the creation of a community painting, led by Cultural Medallion recipient Ho Ho Ying.
PM Lee, who is an adviser to the Ang Mo Kio grassroots organisations, sang along with a ukulele group and helped complete a "memory wall" of some 1,000 photographs from past community events.
He also presented fund awards to six ground-up projects that helped to deepen social engagement among residents.
The second annual PAssionARTS Month is into its third of five weekends, with arts and cultural activities across the island.
