At her heaviest, Ms Esther Ho tipped the scales at 95kg and could fit only into XXL dresses. She said her husband was so embarrassed by her appearance he rarely took her out and would call her names.
Her marriage eventually broke down and the 1.68m-tall investment director filed for divorce in June 2016. The experience was a blow that led her to spend her one-hour lunch breaks working out.
