Certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums ended mostly higher at the first bidding exercise of the year, which ended on Wednesday.
Premiums went up in all categories apart from Category A, where the COE price for cars up to 1,600cc slid by 2.2 per cent to $72,369.
The premium for bigger cars above 1,600cc rose by 3.9 per cent to $78,700, while that for commercial vehicles inched upwards by 1.8 per cent to $48,889.
Motorcycle premiums rose by 9.8 per cent to $1,989, while the COE price in the open category - which can be used for any vehicle but ends up mainly for bigger cars - ended 1.9 per cent higher at $79,000.
