Buying and selling second-hand items online has become part of everyday life, whether to clear space at home or pick up something at a good price.
But even after your Carousell deal is struck, one question often holds things up: how to get the item from seller to buyer.
To simplify the experience, Carousell has partnered with SPX Express – Sea’s logistics arm – to make shipping more convenient for sellers and predictable for buyers.
In practice, this means sellers can pack an item, write the tracking number on the parcel, and either drop it off nearby or arrange for it to be collected – without needing to print labels or coordinate a meet-up. For buyers, they can rest easy knowing the status of their parcels is accessible through the tracking number.
With this partnership, sellers can choose between doorstep pick-up or dropping off parcels at SPX’s network of over 500 collection points across Singapore.
Doorstep collection is free for sellers, while buyers pay delivery fees starting from $1.80 – which Carousell states is currently the lowest available rate on the platform in Singapore. This helps make smaller transactions feel economical and worthwhile.

Carousell user Sharon Foo, who sells on the platform in her spare time, says the flexibility matters.
“Being able to choose between a nearby drop-off point or a doorstep pick-up makes it easier to send things out without having to plan much,” she explains.
“For lower-value items, shipping costs are a consideration. With more affordable delivery options and a simpler process, it feels more worthwhile to list items, knowing that completing the transaction won’t require as much effort.”
Making it worth the listing
SPX is further simplifying the process through label-less shipping. Rather than printing a label, sellers can write the tracking number directly on the parcel and present a barcode through the Carousell app at any SPX drop-off point.
Once scanned, both buyer and seller can track the delivery within the app. For those who opt for doorstep collection but may not be home during the pick-up window, parcels can be left at a secure location. Selected service points also accommodate larger parcel sizes, making the option workable for bulkier items.
The SPX Express and Carousell partnership means transactions are easier to complete, making even smaller listings worthwhile for sellers.

Underpinning these delivery options is SPX, which brings its fulfilment capabilities and network of collection points to the partnership.
“As more people turn to platforms like Carousell to buy and sell items on their own time, delivery needs to be just as simple,” says Mr Hoirul Hafiidz, director of SPX Express.
“Through this integration, users can choose convenient options like doorstep pick-ups or nearby drop-off points, helping them to save time and complete transactions with peace of mind.”
He notes that reliable logistics becomes increasingly important as second-hand transactions continue to grow. “By tapping into our wider network, we’re able to support a higher volume of C2C transactions reliably, while keeping delivery options affordable and easy to use,” adds Mr Hoirul.
With this partnership, SPX Express hopes to support smoother, more accessible buying and selling for Singaporeans.

Appreciating the partnership with the logistics firm, Mr Vishal Salunkhe, chief business officer of Carousell, says: “By working with SPX, we’re enabling a smoother delivery experience, making it easier for more Singaporeans to participate in recommerce.”
The shift goes beyond practical considerations. Says Mr Vishal: “More and more users are embracing second-hand not just for value, but as a more sustainable way to buy and sell.
“Making delivery more seamless and affordable plays an important role in building that confidence, and in encouraging more transactions to happen end-to-end on the platform.”
Early user feedback has been encouraging, with buyers and sellers expressing satisfaction with the affordability and speed of SPX’s services, as well as the ease of label-less pick-ups and drop-offs.
