A red Mazda on Monday afternoon overturned after it mounted a grass patch and slammed through a railing.
It came to a stop only after colliding into an oncoming car from the opposite direction.
The 33-year-old female driver of the Hyundai that was hit, was taken to hospital with injuries to her neck and shoulder but she was conscious.The male driver of the Mazda escaped unscathed.
The woman's husband, Mr K.W. Chia, said that they were on their way to send their 10-year-old daughter for her piano lessons in the Marina Bay area when the accident happened.
He said that they were traveling slowly, at about 40km/h while navigating a bend turning from Toa Payoh into Braddell Road, and added that he was worried for his wife.
The driver of the Mazda did not want to speak to the media.
